WHAT WE DO
Electrical “Bootcamp” Training Academy is a unique, accelerated and affordable pre-apprenticeship electrical program designed to supply ambitious workers to the future of the electrical industry. Plus, all graduates will receive an OSHA-30 certification.
Our program provides pre-qualified employees to industry leaders who are charged with finding the future qualified workforce.
WHY WE DO IT
We are in the midst of an Industry Labor Shortage as baby boomers are continuing to retire, therefore causing a high demand for skilled electricians.
Younger generations are being misguided that attending college is the best option to succeed, but the ETA Bootcamp Leadership Team understands college is not for everyone, thus providing a "Bootcamp" style program to help fill the enormous void in the electrical industry.

ETA Bootcamp accomplishes this with a strict recruiting process by accepting limited qualified applicants.

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to stop by our website of the Electrical "Bootcamp" Training Academy, located in Clifton, New Jersey. I am Jimmie Bodrato, a 43 year veteran of the construction industry and I’ve watched the training process consistently disappear. I would like to see the training process get turned back around to its original roots for the future of the electrical construction industry to survive!
With that being said, I have created a "Bootcamp" style training academy training pre-apprentices to the necessary tasks to provide value to our great electrical industry. I am a father of three children and a master electrician in New York and New Jersey. I would like to share my work experience and history so you better understand why I feel this is a necessity for our industry to train with a purpose.
After graduating high school, I attended Rockland Community College to study Criminal Justice. I thought college was the only path to success, but little did I know, college was not for me. I decided 3 years later to join the workforce and applied for an electrical apprentice job at USIS, where I met Jimmie Bodrato. I spent the next 6 years of my career there and learned to love our craft.
I started the apprenticeship program while working in the warehouse, then moving to the estimating office, and finally getting into the field. In my time at USIS, I was put into a position where I touched everything to get the job done - estimating, purchasing, prefabrication, installation and project management.
In summary, college is not for everyone and the electrical industry has a lot to offer, and I certainly am a product of that.
OUR INSPIRATION, BORN 1917
Joseph Bodrato - born March 4, 1917 in Northvale, New Jersey. He was the son of Anthony, a construction worker, and grandson of Lorenzo, a school teacher from Italy turned into a craft stone cutter in the United States for employment. Joe had 3 brothers, in which he and 2 of his brothers were tradesmen and 1 a civil engineer. Joe’s life was long and full of many great moments and work was the way of life, after his family.
Before becoming a tradesman, Joe's first job was with his eldest brother Freddy, where they were sent away for $1 a day to pick strawberries from dawn to dusk, including three-square meals of fresh farm food and fresh milk. Although the work was laborious, the fresh food was superb - Joe’s greatest memory of that job.
America, please remember, we will honor the greatest generation in our country‘s history by bringing back the roots of building, with honor and pride, in training the future of our country.
Thanks again to my grandfather for a lifetime of education in the trades...

A module is 3 hours, 2 nights a week. After every 3 modules, you will be tested on your knowledge of the curriculum.

Electrical Apprentice / Student Teacher
When I graduated from high school I went to college to run Division I Track and Field. I never really knew what I wanted to do for a career and I felt lost, so I eventually dropped out.
I was fortunate enough to start working for a friend’s small construction company and started to fall in love with working a blue collar lifestyle and working with my hands.
As I was working construction, I was thinking about maybe becoming an electrician one day. Coincidentally I met Jimmie Bodrato. He told me he was going to start this electrical bootcamp school where I can learn the basics and how to wire a home by code. I was all in and signed up shortly after we met with each other. And there I was, the first ever student to sign up for ETA.
Going to the school was such a great experience and I learned so much from it. I started to work as an electrician right away after graduating, with skills far above my coworkers due to training from ETA. I have been working for two years now as an electrician and have never been happier. ETA has given me so much, and to give back, I became an assistant teacher at the school, and, with their help, have started my journey to getting my license through an apprenticeship program.
Attending ETA was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Not only did Jim and his team of knowledgeable and patient teachers equip me with the skills needed for success, but they also went above and beyond to mentor me along the way. Thanks to their guidance and support, I was able to secure a job even before graduating. Moreover, Jim personally assisted me in transitioning into the specific sector of the industry I was passionate about, making my career transition seamless and fulfilling.
I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities and knowledge provided by ETA, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking to excel.
